Sut Cwrs Oedd O? / What Kind Of Course Was It?
We had a great week at Sage
College. Cwrs yr Ymerodraeth—the Empire Course—brought Cymdeithas Madog's annual week-long Welsh course to New York, the Empire State, for a week of language learning and hwyl. To read more about the wonderful week we had, click here for a full review.

Further, at the end of each
Cwrs Cymraeg, students are awarded certificates to testify to their newfound proficiency in Welsh. Here are some

Eisteddfod Y Cwrs / The Course Eisteddfod
One of the highlights of each
year's Cwrs Cymraeg is the Cwrs Eisteddfod. This is a writing competition that allows the learners show off their
newfound skills. There are prizes for the best entries in three groups: Levels 1 & 2, Levels 3, 4, & 5,
and Levels 5 Estynedig & 6. Read the winning entries from Cwrs Cymraeg yr Ymerodraeth.

Y Noson Lawen
After a long week of learning
Welsh, there's a need to blow off a little steam. That's why the Saturday evening is reserved for the "noson
lawen" (literally "cheerful evening"), an evening where everyone takes part in the entertainment.
Class skits and single entertainers make the noson lawen truly a cheerful and memorable evening. Here are a
few pictures of the skits and entertainers.
