Pont - Llanrwst / Bridge - Llanrwst Llanrwst is a small market town in the Conwy Valley of North Wales. Though a small town on the banks of the Conwy, it has big links to Cymdeithas Madog. The Cymdeithas Madog chair, awarded for the literary competition at each Cwrs Cymraeg, is a duplicate of the chair awarded at the Llanrwst Eisteddfod.
